Privacy Policy

What we collect

To run this site and set up your order, we collect only what we need:

• Contact details: your name and email address.
• Order details: the product, options, and shipping address you give us.
• Your photos: the image files you email us for personalization.
• Payment data: handled entirely by the fulfilling studio and its payment processor. Heartpet never sees or stores your full card number, because Heartpet never takes payments.

This website itself runs no advertising trackers and sets no marketing cookies.

How your photos are used

Your photos are used to produce your order and for nothing else by default. Specifically: they are shared only with the studio making your item, they are never sold, and they never appear on this site, on social media, or anywhere else unless you separately give us written permission (for example, when you email us a review photo).

Photo retention: order photos are deleted 24 months after your order is completed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner (or keep them for reorders).

Who processes your data

• Our partner studio (seller of record; receives your photo and shipping address, and is an independent controller for your purchase)
• The studio's payment processor (payment processing on the studio's checkout)
• USPS / UPS (delivery; receives your shipping address)
• Our email provider (order and support correspondence)

All are service providers or the selling studio acting to fulfill your order; none may use your data for their own marketing.

Marketing email, in plain terms

We only email you marketing (new products, promotions) if you explicitly subscribe. When we do:

• Every email comes from a real @petgiftstudio.com address with the sender name "Heartpet".
• Every email shows the physical mailing address of the operating entity behind Heartpet.
• Every email contains a working unsubscribe link that takes effect promptly.

Order and support emails (proofs, tracking, replies to your questions) are transactional and don't require a subscription. Note that this website policy supports but does not replace those email requirements: the unsubscribe link and postal address must appear in the emails themselves.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy or deletion of it, and to opt out of any "sale" of it (we don't sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of). Email support@petgiftstudio.com and we will verify and act on your request within 45 days. You will never be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Requests about your payment or purchase records may be forwarded to the fulfilling studio as the seller of record.

Anyone can ask us to correct or delete their data at any time, same inbox.

Children

Heartpet is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we'll delete it.

Security and changes

Data is stored with our service providers using industry-standard protections. If this policy changes materially, we'll note the change date at the top and, where required, notify you directly.

Contact and controller

The data controller for this website is Heartpet, a marketing and promotion agency. Your purchase data is also processed by the fulfilling studio as the independent seller of record. Privacy requests and questions: support@petgiftstudio.com.
